Growing Population and Future Society in Sociological Aspects
Introduction:-
Population in a society is very much important for the upliftment and evolution of that society. It is also a universal truth that without population we can't imagine any society and without organized society imagination of our future is impossible. Today the world has a huge population and we are becoming a part of the global village. After Digital Revolution human beings live in two parallel life one is in the Physical world and another is in the Virtual world. Overpopulation was showing as a burden to the state but it seems a great opportunity in the economic view. On another way, society is dynamic in nature, trends of behavior, culture, habits, taste, etc are affected. Since the modern era of society, people had developed adaptive nature. These all become of globalization and liberalization of world politics.
Future society will become more liberal, technical but complex in social nature.
The future of the earth is not easy because, after the emergence of new basic needs (Like access to the internet), particular virtual identity, etc are brings simplification in lifestyle but in social aspects life of us become may be complicated. We can imagine that families in future society maybe become Nuclear Family or No family and relationships become complicated. The massive change will be seen in the Education sector. There is a high possibility that crime of future society deffer from nowadays crime, but their motive and goal will be same as now. And they should adopt different approaches to personal things and thoughts.
So, why we are discussing this
1) to find out the consequences of human life in future society.
2) what are the reality of population growth in a positive manner.
Rapid Growth of Population and World (Society) Today: -
Today's World according to statistical data:-
Today world population is around 7.9 Billion. China has an 18.34% population, India has a 17.69% population and the USA has a 4.23% population of World Population. The Total Fertility Rate (TFR) of the world is 2.5, In 1955 Total Fertility Rate of the world was 5, and 2.1 TFR is considered as the replacement level of the population. The population density of the world is 52 people per Km2 today.
Today world population rate is 1.05% which is a decline from 2.2%, in the last 50 years.
According to Staticstime World Sex Ratio is 101.69 males per 100 females.
- Qatar has the highest sex ratio that is 300 males for 100 females.
- Nepal has the lowest sex ratio which is 84.5 males per 100 females.
- In 2020, the USA has 97.9 males per 100 females.
- China has 105.07 and India has 108.1, sex ratio per 100 females.
The population of the world could be reached at peak at the end of the current century, projection of peak population of around 11 billion.
690 million people were undernourished. According to UNHSP around 100 million were homeless. There are 26.4 million people who are considered refugees.
These are some statistical data that is collected from online sources. On the basis of these data, we have got a little bit of knowledge about our global society.
Today's World according to Sociological view:-
We also know that people in earlier times lived in wild as other living beings. But with the development of thinking and behavior, people evolve themselves as they need. We can trace back our society in several phases which are discussing as:-
1) Hunting and gathering Society
2) Agrarian Society
3) Industrial Society
4) Modern Society
5) Post Modern Society
Today we have seen that the entire world has two types of rule like Democracy and Monarchy. Autocracy is a distorted version of democracy. According to the Law of Three stages society has trying to evolve continuously. Today world has a global virtual society. This virtual society is very effective in individual life. After the 2000s our society has shifted from the paper world to the software world. All systems of Government and their other parts have become more reachable to people. People were working in office. School have classroom and playground but now we can see virtual schools also. There are many things in future which will be different from now.
