Delete(8) Durkheim considered in his theory of Social fact that Social fact must be treated as ‘things’ as empirical facts from the outside, we must discover them as discover physical facts. Durkheim argued, sociology must study ‘ social fact' . To him social factors are external matters to the members of a group or society.
Social fact are not reducible to individual fact. For him social facts are collective ways of acting , thinking and feeling that present the noteworthy property of existing outside the individual consciousness.
(9) Marx made class Struggle, the central fact of social evolution. “The history of all hitherto existing human society is the history of class struggle.
